Breakfast will be provided by the hotel at 6.30 a.m. After having breakfast, your trekking will be registered at the main gate of Mount Rinjani National Park. From the gate, you start the trekking to post 1 (915 m) for one hour. You will walk through a tropical rainforest. Arriving at post 1, you will take a rest for 15 minutes, then continue climbing to post 2 for one hour. As you arrive at post 2 (1,500 m), you will rest longer and have lunch.

After having lunch, you continue trekking to post 3 (2,000 m) for two hours and take a rest at post 3 for fifteen minutes. From Post 3, you will trek hills for one and a half hours to reach Sembalun Crater Rim (2,641 m), with an estimated arrival time of 4.30 p.m. From this point,  you will enjoy a spectacular sunrise. Apart from that, you can enjoy the stunning views of Segara Anak Lake – a lake on Mount Rinjani, the 3 Gilis, and Mount Agung in Bali. Here, you will have dinner and take a night’s rest.
